After a trip to the parts yard to get another MAF, Still the same rough idle as always after hooking up the replacement. Disconnecting the MAF made it run LOADS better.
I checked the 02 sensor readings on Torque this evening, turns out that one of the sensors hardest to reach (after the cat, Bank 1 Sensor 2) went bad, or got disconnected somehow, with a constant reading of 0.09V, instead of the usual 0.84V the rest had. Why are Bimmers so annoying to fix? There's a power steering pump on the way out as well, and that is deep in the cramped engine bay.
So, I should send back the MAF, and see if they have sensors in stock.

Do you have my car? All of these things just recently went wrong on my E34. Though I also had the ignition break, so now I can't even drive the car.

This is my father's E90. Last year, it blew an ignition coil for some reason. Car was parked for a week.

My E90 has about the same reliability as my E30. The only difference is the E30 is much easier to fix.

Post-cat O2 sensors shouldn't have much, if any, effect on how your car runs. The whole point of a post-cat O2 sensor is to see if your cat is working right. That's it.
